Well, it's not exactly hidden. It's a state park. It is off the beaten trail and off the tourist corridor of the Florida Panhandle. Kind of a local "hidden" treasure for sure. There are 2 more near by. The Ponce de Leon spring and Vortex Spring. Morrison is by far the best of the three. You must have been there in the winter or on a week day. It's loaded with people on summer weekends.

Nice video! I have dove at Ginnys Spring. Cold doesn't phase me too much. Here in the PNW it's usually 43 degrees all year. Looking forward to viewing more treasure hunting finds. Lol

28 1/2 dormant flounder.at Galveston Island. Under a bridge. I was with a buddy talking, when I noticed my line had slack. As a joke I picked up the rod and set the hook. Little did I know my Pb was incoming. I got some good Photos of it.

Im new to the Panhandle &Gulf,but it seems to me Sheepshead aren't to darn hard to catch(shrimp, crabs ,worms , oysters, corn, homely, peas, Putzky's salmon eggs?) Take whatever you got handy! Looks like FUN!😊

Thank you for taking the time to do this! I have some tools that were in a tool box that has the "waterproof seal" on it, but apparently that does NOT work. IF it did my tools wouldn't be rusted from being left in it outside. Tried the baking soda/vinegar mix and that did not work, so now gonna try the STRAIGHT vinegar and hopefully my tools will look like yours!

As kids in the 70s, we'd hit oysters shells with a club when we found the spot.

Hey.. I'm from North Central Texas....I've been an avid angler my whole life....didn't get acquainted with salt water fishing...until I started vacationing to the Texas coast....it's a very long drive...I use to stay on the gulf of Mexico..at Rock Port and the Mustang islands....I started out catching specks and flounder in late spring their....finally got in with some of tge local anglers....and quickly learned how to wade fish them with jigs and grubs....I haven't caught a bunch of flounder....mostly specs...sand trout..and reds....my pb flounder is 20inches.....it was a trophy in my book!! Itching to head back down....they say around Galveston Island is also a good area....as for me...I'm a fan of Rock port....port aransas...Mustang islands....can't wait to head back down there....I've learned alot about flounder fishing from you Nate!!! I'll be armed with a big supply of the hoodwinks....when I go....I'm an avid crappie fisherman in fresh water...so I'm at home fishing jigs and grubs!!!

I caught all my PB Flounder in one day. The old Dan Russell Pier in PCB, Fl. March 15,1994. I caught 3 Flounderl. 1st one 7lbs 12 os.,2Nd one 4lbs. 4oz. and the 3RD Flounder 6lbs 7oz. It was along time ago. But a true story!!!

My PB flounder is 25” caught in Calcasieu lake, la. My sister’s PB is 31” she caught in hackberry, la. Biggest flounder I’ve ever seen! Was an absolute doormat

I would be using one of these to go fishing , the fish are so unfussed by the weird white thing ...bit of bait in the claw with a hook and liine and you could (probably not legal) easily drop bait right next to the fish...if not give it to them.

I remember in the 90's when sheephead were considered a trash fish. My buddy would be getting reds and specs and I would get sheephead, I was so dejected. Funny how things turn out.

Can you do some drone spearfishing 🏹🎣with it that'd be cool to catch some of those invasive lionfish 🐠without leaving the boat and being attacked by sharks 🦈 don't forget to give me some credit for that idea 💡 now I must go up up and awayy yyyyyyyyy!!!🦸🏾
